Buck My Life!

Today, I was at one of the major Computer Fair at Hong Kong to get a new laptop. The hall was super crowded, with lots of stinking bodies, hovering around the booths. I noticed that many of these people are not shoppers, but horny toads who are more interested in the show girls parading around the gadgets, rather than the stuff itself.

I was pissed off. What is worst is they blocked the whole passageway, making shoppers like me having a hard time to get through. I finally reached the Acer booth, and found this hot, sizzling show girl at the booth. She has dark, long flowing hair and she was wearing such hot shorts that my legs began to shake. Many guys were around her, ogling at her, making her very uncomfortable.

I inched my way towards her. Her eyes caught me and I caught a smile from her. I guessed she find it amusing I was wearing such nice, professional office wear, and have to stained my new shirt with all the sweat from the people around me. When I reached beside her, I whispered to her ear,

“You know something? You are causing a massive jam at this booth. What is more? You are not helping in the sales of the goods as you are catching too much attention on yourself and not the goods.”

She giggled and said, “Well, I thought that is what I am paid to do.”

“Well, if that is your thinking and you are a showgirl in my business, you will suffer so badly,” I replied.

That sentence caught her attention and she said, “Oh… What business are you in?”

I told her about my jewellery company followed by taking out my business card and passing to her. She was shocked to see my position as President and CEO of such a big jewellery company.

“Oh my god.. my mum loved your jewellery. She is a fan of them,” she said.

“Thank you,” I replied. “If your mum needs anything, you can drop by any of my stores and show this card. She will get a huge discount.”

“Oh.. Thank you so much!”

“My pleasure. Now if you don’t mind, I am looking for this model,” I said, taking out the brochure. “Can you tell me where is it?”

She took a look at the brochure, and said, “Oh this model is a very popular model. It is supposed to be sold out yesterday, but I think I have 1 extra one which is not on sale.”

After a fruitful discussion with her, I managed to get her to sell me the last piece at a great discount. I carried the laptop to my car. As I was putting my laptop into my car’s boot, I received a message in my phone.

I took it out and to my surprise, it was from the showgirl whom I just spoke to.

She said, “Hey, my lunch break is in an hour time. Want to meet up?”
